Troubleshoot

When the Configuration app is launched it may not fully load with the pages appearing blank. This can happen when the Power Apps component framework for canvas app feature hasn't been enabled. To enable this feature in an environment:

  1. Sign in to Power Apps.
  2. Select the Settings cog in the top right and then select Admin center.
  3. On the left pane select Manage and then Environments.
  4. Select the environment where you want to enable this feature and then select Settings.
  5. Expand Product and select Features.
  6. From the list of available features, turn on Power Apps component framework for canvas apps, and then select Save.

What you do next depends on whether you experienced this when installing our solution for the first time or upgrading:

  • If you were installing for the first time, simply delete the solution and import it again with the feature already enabled.
  • If you were upgrading, make sure the feature is enabled and then export your configuration by following our guide and using the direct URL option detailed. Then import the solution again and carry out the import configuration steps, which will now be possible via the user interface in the Experian Data Validation Configuration Power App.

The solution will remember the last country you selected and show that the next time you go to add an address.

After validation of an address, email or phone number, a JavaScript error may occur.

TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'setValue').

This only occurs in version 4.0.131 of the app where validation results (message or timestamp) fields have not been mapped onto the form being used.

Create and add the Validation Message and Validation Timestamp fields to the form where the issue occurs. If you don't want to display these fields to your users, you can hide them form view.
