Submit new lead

The Partner Portal allows partners to submit new customer leads directly to Experian Data Quality. This ensures leads are captured consistently and routed to the appropriate Experian sales teams for follow‑up.

What is a lead?

A lead is a potential customer who has interest in our solutions but has not yet been fully qualified. After a lead is submitted by a partner it is reviewed by Experian to determine next steps.

Submitting the lead

  1. After logging in to the Partner Portal, select Leads from the left‑hand navigation menu.
  2. Click the Submit new lead button.
  3. Fill the required lead information. Then click Next.
  4. Review all entered information for accuracy and completeness.
  5. Ensure all required fields are completed.
  6. Click Submit at the bottom of the page.

If any required information is missing or invalid, the system will highlight the fields that need attention.

Required information

Provide information about the primary contact at the customer organization.

  • First name – Contact’s first name
  • Last name – Contact’s last name
  • Email address – Business email address of the contact
  • Phone – Contact phone number (include country code if outside your region)
  • Job title – Contact’s role or job title

This information is used by Experian to engage directly with the referred lead.

Enter details about the organization associated with the lead.

  • Company name – Legal or commonly used company name
  • Country – Country where the company is located

Ensure the company details are accurate to avoid delays in lead qualification.

Classify the lead’s business to help route and prioritize the opportunity.

  • Industry – High‑level industry category
  • Sector – More specific sector within the selected industry
  • Sub‑sector – Optional, further classification if applicable

Available options are presented as dropdown lists.

Specify the status and consent information for the lead.

  • Lead status – Current status of the lead. By default it will be "open".
  • Consent to contact – Indicates whether the contact has given permission to be contacted (Yes or No)
  • Region – Geographic region associated with the lead
  • Currency – Preferred or relevant currency for the opportunity
  • Referred by - Name of the referrer

Leads submitted without proper consent may not be progressed.

The lead submission process allows to provide additional context. These details help align the lead with the correct Experian team and ensure overall increases the chance for the lead to be successful.

After submission

  • The lead is recorded in the Partner Portal and becomes visible in your Leads list.
  • Experian reviews the submitted lead and updates its status as it progresses.
  • You can track its status in the Leads list.
