Analysing your cleaned data

Each response from Clean Web Service can include a unique match profile for every record that has been cleaned. Postal addresses are also accompanied by in-depth match codes.

Match codes describe the differences between the data supplied to the web service and the corresponding data that is sent back. They can be used to achieve an in-depth analysis of the changes that have been applied, and can also be used to programmatically select the postal addresses you want to add back into your database.

Match profiles are derived from match codes, and provide a basic overview of Clean's success in cleaning each postal address.
