These are the release notes for Batch API:

2023

v8.5 is a global release on all supported Windows and UNIX platforms. The release contains maintenance improvements relating to:

  • Implements a resilience enhancement to improve product stability under high load.
  • Crash prevention for a specific address when performing concurent searching with GBR dataset and Multi-residency additional dataset.

v8.4 is a global release on all supported Windows and Linux platforms. The release contains maintenance improvements relating to:

  • Includes a fix to increase the product stability and mitigate crashes in stressful situation.

v8.3 is a global release on all supported Windows and Linux platforms. The release contains maintenance improvements relating to:

  • CASS Cycle O Certified Version per USPS requirements
  • HTTPS support was added to REST server.

v8.1 is a global release on all supported Windows and Linux platforms. The release contains maintenance improvements relating to:

  • Improved handling of small, concurrent batches submitted via the REST API.
  • Matching logic improvements in GBR dataset when sub-building numbers contain delimiters, like Scottish tenement addresses (i.e. Flat 2/2, 267 Crow Road, Glasgow).

2022

v8.0 is a major release for Batch API that supports all operating systems under Experian Platform Compatibility Guidance.

  • Introduces RESTful APIs for an improved integration experience. Check out detailed information on all available endpoints.
  • Irish data improvements to include Irish postal codes, known as Eircodes, as address elements within the IRE dataset.
  • Matching improvements for IRE dataset that leverage the improved data structure optimally.
  • Performance and throughput improvements.
  • Maintenance and quality of life improvements.
  • Capability to produce CASS certification status reports via REST API or dll call.
