1. Professional Services Service Descriptions

1.1 Introduction

The purpose of this document is to describe the Services that the Experian Professional Services team will perform.

Service Description
Prof Serv: Installation & Configuration (where the Quotation contains Licenced Materials) Experian Professional Services will assist You in getting the optimal functionality from the Licenced Materials specified in the Quotation. This includes a full explanation of the product and data maintenance advice and ideas for handling the most commonly encountered errors.
Prof Serv: Batch without Suppression Training Each session purchased as part of the Services specified on the Quotation will comprise on-site training by Experian Professional Services for up to six attendees. The training will provide attendees with an understanding of Batch and the data sets specified in the Licenced Materials in the Quotation, how to perform basic runs with Your sample data. For the avoidance of doubt, the sample data will be Your Data and run on Your own computers.
Prof Serv: Batch with Suppression Training Each session purchased as part of the Services specified on the Quotation will comprise on-site training by Experian Professional Services for up to six attendees. The training will provide attendees with an understanding of Batch and the data sets specified in the licenced Materials in the Quotation.
For the avoidance of doubt, this will include:
Suppression dataset training, including demonstration of how the suppression data is sourced and how to use the suppression datasets within Batch.
The Customer will be taken through a suppression run with their own data during the sessions.
Prof Serv: Aperture Training Each session purchased as part of the Services specified on the Quotation will comprise on-site training by Experian Professional Services which may include (but is not limited to):
  • Aperture Data Studio Basics – overview of Aperture Data Studio key functionality and features
  • Discovery – how to carry out data analysis work
  • Transforming and Cleansing – training with respect to manipulating Your Data into a desired format
  • Duplicate detection - using Find duplicates to identify potential duplicate records, how to configure and tune rules and harmonise results
  • Reporting and Outputs – report generation
  • DQ Monitoring – rule creation in order to monitor the quality of Your Data on an ongoing basis
  • Administration – provide an overview of administration settings and maintenance options
  • Advanced – overview of advanced features of Aperture Data Studio
Prof Serv: Enterprise & Maintenance This includes but is not limited to support on a bespoke solution or workflow built for you, general consultation on the current solution for each Contract Year.
Prof Serv: Data Quality Assessment Your Data is assessed for data accuracy and integrity.
Prof Serv: Aperture Consultancy This session may include, but is not limited to, mentoring on Aperture Data Studio use, training on specific aspects of Aperture Data Studio, implementation of jobs/processes within Aperture Data Studio or general consultation about the use of the product.
