Depending on your products and requirements, you may need some consultancy. A Delivery Consultant will get in touch to discuss timescales for the upcoming project and arrange a kick-off meeting. From this initial contact, Delivery Consultants have a 2-week lead time, allowing any prerequisites to be met and all appropriate resources aligned. Once your delivery is complete, the Professional Services team will take over and obtain your sign-off. At this point you'll be asked to complete a short survey to help us improve in the future.

Critical vulnerability in Apache Log4j library (log4shell)

Experian is fully aware of the log4j security vulnerability. Experian Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team continues to monitor and assess this vulnerability, including any potential impact to Experian systems. Experian has identified systems that may be impacted by this vulnerability and implemented mitigating controls such as the deployment of IPS signatures in active blocking mode, WAF signatures in active blocking mode, and antivirus signature updates. Our perimeter at this time is fully remediated.

Experian continues to monitor the network and environments for suspicious activities. Additional calculated measures are taken as needed based on the results of monitoring.

On 9th of December 2021, Proof-of-Concept (PoC) exploits for a new critical zero-day vulnerability affecting Apache Log4j version 2.0 to 2.14.1, resulting in remote code execution (RCE) being made publicly available. This is being tracked as CVE-2021-44228.
