Configure validation mode

You can also use the Countries page to configure which address validation mode should be used on a country-by-country basis. There are 3 options available:

  • Autocomplete - provides suggestions in real-time, that continually update as the user types (the default)
  • Validate - validates a complete address using multiple interactive steps
  • Autocomplete + Validate - a hybrid mode designed to validate edits made after a successful Autocomplete search returns a full address

The user workflow for these options is described in further detail on the Address Validation overview page.

Configuring validation mode

  1. Go to the Experian Data Validation Configuration Power App.

  2. Select the Countries page from the left menu.

  3. Find the desired country and update the Validation mode dropdown as required. The country must first be enabled and saved for the dropdown to become active.
