A data vintage is the release date assigned to a particular dataset. Additional datasets and DataPlus sets must always match the vintage of the core dataset they support. For example, if you use GBR Address data together with GBN Names data, both datasets must share the same vintage to operate correctly. All related datasets must be activated at the same time to avoid compatibility issues that may prevent your Experian applications from functioning.
Use release schedules to check when each dataset is shipped and which vintage is currently available. This helps you plan update cycles, align internal maintenance windows, and confirm which vintage should be installed next.
DataPlus release schedules
Select the name of your data update below. The Update Date refers to the raw data release date and it can take between 4 and 8 weeks to complete shipment, depending on frequency and coverage.

Check expiry dates to see when your installed dataset will stop functioning if it is not updated. You can update your datasets quickly using Electronic Updates, which streamlines the download and activation of new data through the Self Service Portal. Electronic Updates checks for eligible datasets, applies the correct vintage, and activates updates with minimal manual effort.
You can use a test address to confirm that a dataset has been installed successfully. Test addresses show whether the correct vintage is active and help you troubleshoot when the installed version is unclear. These checks are particularly useful immediately after an update or during acceptance testing.
