The object page presents key details, conformance status, related objects, and collaboration features.

To view an object in detail, click its Name in the object list, or by open the hamburger menu in the corresponding row and select View.

The navigation bar beneath the header provides access to several views associated with an object. Each tab supports a particular area of working with the object, such as reviewing information, collaborating, and maintaining governance.

General tab

The General tab provides the essential details and attributes of the selected object, together with any custom fields or additional information set up by the Catalog administrator.
A section titled People are also interested in: may appear on this page. This section lists objects frequently viewed in relation to the selected object, supporting discovery of related or similar entries within the Catalog.

People tab

The People tab provides a view of the Interest Types defined for the object type and the users fulfilling the corresponding Roles or subscriptions. The list of available Interest Types is determined by the configuration set by the Catalog administrator and may differ between object types. Interest Types can represent roles such as ownership, stewardship, contribution, or any other governance‑related role defined for that particular object type.

Discussion tab

The Discussion tab provides a centralised space for conversations related to the object, allowing users to post updates, reply to existing threads, and tag other users to involve them directly in the discussion.

History tab

The History tab shows a chronological record of all changes made to the object, including when they were made and who approved them. This tab offers transparency into how the object has evolved over time and supports governance and compliance.

Quality tab

When enabled by the Catalog administrator, the Quality tab displays validation results for rules associated with the object, helping to assess alignment with defined standards and identify areas that require attention.

The results table displays:

  • Group – A list of rules that have been applied to the object, grouped by the Rule Group or Ruleset they belong to.
  • Pass rate – Percentage of records meeting the rule
  • Failure rate – Percentage of records failing the rule

A Historical Data chart visualises changes over time.

Key features include:

  • Metric selector – Chooses the metric displayed
  • Time‑based plot – Shows performance across validation runs
  • Automated updates – Chart refreshed daily

This view highlights long‑term trends such as improvements, declines, or sudden fluctuations.
