Introduction

Batch API cleans the address records in your database by verifying them against the official address files for the relevant country. Cleaned records are assigned a match result, based on the accuracy of the original address.

Batch API returns matched addresses in the format that you specify. You can decide which address elements appear on which line, and which elements are capitalized or abbreviated. Batch API always returns address elements using the string data type, even when there are fields which may only contain numeric data. You define the output address format in the configuration file.

In 3 easy steps you can check your Address database:

  1. Extract your records that you wish to check (Batch API will not directly access your files.)
  2. Pass them through Batch API (Batch API will check the list one by one) and update your records list.
  3. Batch API will return an update records list for you to check and feedback into your database.
